EnMasse 3.1 released

RenderX has released EnMasse 3.1.
This release comes with platform-independent and Windows specific distributions. The release features refactored code, improved performance, stability, and more informative log format. The full list of improvements is:
- Performance improvements, including adding a new config option for caching control. See EnMasse User Guide for details on configuring certificates.
- Increase in formatting speed: Test results showed up to 34% (with cache turned off) and minimum 11% improvement in peak performance.
- Improved log format for being more informative.
- Improved client for Fairy.
- Bugfixes: Fixed WinMasse service stop command on Windows systems.

XEP 4.25 released
|
RenderX has released XEP 4.25. This major release brings new extensions and improvements:
- PDF/UA compliance (specification):
- Added the BBox attribute to the PDF Artifacts in the output.
- Fixed the read-out-loud of partial sentences in a paragraph.
- Fixed null pointer exception on tagged documents, which happens when the same rx:pdf-structure-tag appears on two or more different pages.
- Fixed reading "empty page" on non-empty pages.
- Bug fix in Section 508 Accessibility.
- Changed font parsing (loading) strategy in XEP.
- PDF linearization fixes.
- Support for RGBA.
- Fixed increasing memory consumption (memory leak).
- Rewritten caching algorithms for images. Potential performance improvement, especially on Base64-encoded images.
- Comb field support and improved positioning in PDF forms.
The DocBench bundle now includes oXygen XML Editor 18.

RenderX has released EnMasse 3.0.
This release comes with platform-independent and Windows specific distributions. The release features completely redesigned load-balancing algorithms, support for secure connection (TLS), improved performance, stability, and security. The full list of improvements is:
- Improved performance: Test results showed 17% increase in formatting speed.
- Improved stability: Older versions may lose HTTP connections under high load.
- Added HTTPS support for Fairy - a SOAP formatting server. See EnMasse User Guide for details on configuring certificates.
- Added a sample client for Fairy.
